This workshop will demonstrate a variety of tools supported by the Penn Libraries for working on Digital Research Projects, including Omeka, Scalar, StoryMap, TimelineJS, and Google Fusion as well as some techniques for ensuring a successful digital research project.This includes how to make informed decisions about the digital tools you will use, the terminology necessary to critically discuss software applications, and the necessary preparations at the beginning of a project that will ensure ease in collaboration and sharing/accessing the data and research results.
