An introduction to building, customizing, and publishing a WordPress.org website. We'll discuss Wordpress.org's advanced customization options, and we'll provide hands-on guidance to locate and modify the CSS behind a website. Participants without personal websites will have access to a sample WordPress.org site to practice customizing during the workshop. This is a beginner/intermediate workshop. Some basic knowledge of HTML and/or CSS is helpful but not necessary.
Learning Objectives:
- Engage with WordPress.org's advanced customization options.
- Interpret and modify the CSS behind a WordPress website's appearance.
- Discover and interact with web development resources.
