GOLD welcomes Ben Ototivo (CAPS), and Toyce Holmes, Upward Bound Councilor in the Equity and Access Programs office,   to talk about their work with and in support of Native Students at Penn. Ben and Toyce will talk about:

1. The history and context of American educational institutions with respect to admissions and support for Native students

2. Aspects of current best practices in serving Native students

3. Current support at Penn for Native students

Ben and Toyce will share their experience in creating and supporting programs that increase access for underserved communities. We will have the opportunity to learn what Penn is doing currently to support students, and we'll have a chance to think about what we can do better.

As always, Diversi-teas are an opportunity to relax, listen, ask questions, share your own ideas all while drinking tea in good company. We provide tea and cookies, come with your interests and ideas. You are welcome to bring your lunch.
