In this workshop, you will learn about Word Embedding Models, a new kind of language model developed just a few years ago. These models can capture startling insights about the meanings of words, solving analogy problems (Manx | cat => collie | dog) and finding fuzzy semantic matches between words (anger => resentment, outrage, frustration, fury, disquiet). You'll learn to download the necessary data to create your own model, and we'll discuss ways to use this very new technology for data mining projects.
