Brian PetersonJoin us for tea, cookies, and conversation. Today's tea features Dr. Brian Peterson, Director of Makuu. Learn about the center and its activities and how you can contribute to, participate in, and benefit from the Makuu community.  Relax, listen, ask questions, share your own ideas; use one of our tea cups or bring along your own. We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming Diversi-Tea!

As Makuu's website explains:

Makuu: The Black Cultural Center is the University of Pennsylvania's focal point for student activities, ideas, outreach, and support linked to Black culture and the African Diaspora. Housed within the Division of the Vice Provost of University Life and located in the ARCH building in the heart of campus, Makuu provides a comfortable and convenient space for students to gather. Makuu's professional and student staff work daily to provide academic, cultural, and social support to students and groups, connecting them to additional resources and opportunities. Drop us a line, attend a program or link with one of the many student groups Makuu works with, follow us online, or stop by for a visit!
