Please joins us for a Diversi-tea with Dr. Fariha Khan, Associate Director of Penn's Department of Asian American Studies. Dr. Khan will present on Muslim identity in America, with a special emphasis on women. Relax, listen, ask questions, and engage with our speaker all while drinking tea. We provide tea and cookies, come with your interests and ideas

Dr. Khan is actively involved in the Philadelphia community, where she is Chair of the Board of Directors for Penn's Pan Asian American Community House and Co-Chair of the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia Folklore Project.  She is also a member of the Board for Intercultural Journeys, and was appointed in 2015 to the Governor’s Advisory Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs. Within that commission, she heads the Civil Rights Task Force.
