Humanities Commons is a new nonprofit network for people working in all humanities fields. Members can build a professional online portfolio, join existing discussion groups or start their own, create networked WordPress sites, and upload and archive their open access scholarship and open educational resources—irrespective of their discipline, institution, or location.

This workshop will introduce Humanities Commons and walk attendees through the steps of creating a profile; finding and building communities of interest; sharing their scholarship, projects, and teaching materials in an open-access repository (including checking publisher copyright requirements); and increasing the impact of their work.

Sign up for the platform before the workshop at http://hcommons.org/
