In this workshop you'll learn about digital tools that can help you interface with technology in new ways. We will demonstrate software for dictation, text-to-speech, screen enhancement, and other tools designed to help people with disabilities use computers more easily. We’ll also go over how to design and remediate digital files so they are accessible to assistive technology. Taught by Alice McGrath, Post-doc for Accessibility at Penn Libraries, and Amrou Ibrahim, Assistive Technology Specialist in the office of Student Disabilities Services.
