Please join us for tea and conversation with Florian Breitkopf, a PhD candidate in the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures. Florian's research interests are wide ranging and include 18th- and 19th-century German literature, culture, philosophy, and art; Genre Theory; Conceptual History/Begriffsgeschichte; Konstellationsforschung; and the Digital Humanities. His talk is entitled, "Paintings and a Thousand Words: Gallery Conversations in/as Literature."
