"Extreme by Design" is a documentary about students taking an interdisciplinary service learning course in which they apply the design thinking approach to create low-cost devices and products to address real-world problems.

Following the documentary, there will an interdisciplinary panel comprised of faculty and staff discussing their reactions to the documentary, innovative work they are engaged in, and other interdisciplinary opportunities available at Penn. This event is a part of the Penn Libraries InterProfessional Student Advisory Gatherings (#IPSAG), an interprofessional networking event series geared towards students interested in clinical, health sciences research, and related careers. Penn Health-Tech and the School of Nursing are co-sponsoring this event.
