Please join us for tea and conversation with Dr. Isabel Cranz, assistant professor of Hebrew Bible in the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations. Her recent publications include Atonement and Purification: Priestly and Assyro-Babylonian Perspectives on Sin and its Consequences (2017). Today, Dr. Cranz will be talking with us about her ongoing research, which is the basis for her current book project on royal illness in biblical historiography: "Mad Kings in the Bible: Saul and Nebuchadnezzar."
