Join the EC and students from Penn ADAPT (Assistive Devices and Prosthetic Technologies) for this special hands-on workshop series! Over the course of three workshops, members of ADAPT will lead participants through three major steps of building a portable heart-rate monitor. While the sessions will function as standalone workshops, participants are encouraged to attend all three sessions to see the project through from start to finish. All skill levels are welcome!
In Part 2, participants will learn how to program an Arduino to interact with circuits and to work with a pulse sensor. No experience is required, but familiarity with Arduino or Java programming will be helpful. If possible, participants should bring a laptop with the free Arduino IDE software installed.
Part 2 Instructors: Aditya Hota and Alex Chen
