Calling all comics fans and creative imaginations!  Join us for a fun-filled Family and Community Day celebrating the stories, characters, and creativity behind our comics exhibition, The Black Hero's Journey.

There’s something for everyone to explore. Get creative at the Imagination Station and explore the world of comics at our interactive Comics Newsstand. Then, step inside the exhibit for special guided tours led by the exhibit curators, Eric Battle and Sean Quimby, who will share fascinating facts and storylines that bring the comics to life.

Whether you’re a longtime comic enthusiast, a budding artist, or a curious family looking for a fun day of discovery, come join us for an adventure-filled day with art, stories, and comic-book magic!

Registration is recommended, but not required. All ages welcome, but activities best suited for teens, tweens, and adults.

Tours start at 1pm and 2pm, on a first come, first serve basis.

Visitors are encouraged to dress in comics-inspired costumes that are family-friendly and appropriate for all ages.
