The Kislak Center for Special Collections, Rare Books, and Manuscripts invites you to a special preview of the newly acquired Sun Ra Archives at the University of Pennsylvania.  The collections of Johan Kugelberg and John Szwed contain unique & rare materials that document the life and activities of Sun Ra and his Arkestra, including album cover prototypes, posters, publications, professional & fan-based photographs, videos, and much, much more.    

This first look is for the Philadelphia jazz community before the Sun Ra Archives are made available to the general public.  Please join us at the Kislak Center on Saturday, December 2^nd for an afternoon exploration into the Omniverse.
