Curious about machine learning but unsure where to begin? This workshop provides a basic introduction to how machines learn from data and covers core concepts such as training, prediction, and classification. Participants will learn how to distinguish between different types of machine learning and recognize common challenges in the field, including overfitting, bias, and poor-quality data. This workshop is intended for beginners. No coding experience is required but a basic understanding of programming will be helpful.
