Complying with the NIH Data Management & Sharing Policy
Event box
Researchers who are funded by the NIH or will be funded by the NIH, need to know how to comply with the NIH's Data Management & Sharing Policy (DMSP). Requirements include writing a Data Management & Sharing Plan, sharing data, and managing data throughout the research project. This workshop will provide policy explanations, guidance, and resources for researchers on the new policy implemented on January 25, 2023. Since the University of Pennsylvania is a major recipient of NIH funding, it is vital that UPenn researchers are aware of this upcoming change and know how to comply.
