Updates on the NSF Data Management & Sharing Policies

The NSF has recently updated the expectations for how researchers submit a Data Management & Sharing Plan (DMSP) with a grant application. No prior knowledge on the NSF data policies is necessary for attendance, as this workshop will provide an overview of the existing expectations from the NSF and outline what has changed. This workshop will provide policy explanations, guidance, and resources for researchers on the current implementation of the policy and the recent updates.
Learning Outcomes:
- Navigate the updated NSF Data Management & Sharing Policy deposit location on Research.gov
- Interpret the NSF policy and how it applies to you
- Evaluate how the updated DMSP form will impact actual data management towards the end of the funding period
Audience:
- NSF funded researchers or researchers interested in applying for NSF grant funding
