This workshop will explain corporate media, including streaming platforms, television broadcasting, radio, mass media and the press, and social media. We will review recent media business consolidation history as context. The goal is to encourage an awareness of, and willingness to question, media ownership, political interests, profit motives, and other biases as part of a critical, informed consumption of media, whether for academic or personal reasons.

Registration is required. There are 30 seats available.
