We'll demonstrate methods of making printing plates from computer files. This allows for letterpress print applications for a range of compter-based fonts, line art, and logos. We'll talk about which kinds of computer files work best and how to generate these files. We'll provide information about makers of these plates, including Education Commons (where you can use these files to make rubber stamps!) and Boxcar Press.

Instructor Jessica Peterson is director at Common Press.
