You are invited to learn about a powerful and easy-to-use system for managing your scholarly identity. After the presentation, craft with us!

Come learn about the ORCID ID, a unique identifier for researchers. The ORCID ID system reduces the burden when filling out administrative forms, connects all of your research activities together, and reduces issues that might occur due to changing the name you started conducting research under.

This session is hybrid, but we encourage you to come in person! The first half of the event will be a quick presentation about the benefits of ORCID. The second half will be for in-person attendees to make an ORCID ID (if they don’t have one) and create a bracelet with your ID.

Wear your ORCID on your sleeve to demonstrate your commitment to open access.

This event is part of the Penn Libraries International OA Week 2024 celebration.

Registration is required. There are 22 in-person seats available. There are 26 online seats available.
