In 2024, the Barbara Bates Center for the Study of the History of Nursing launched its History Lab, a unique initiative that embeds historical practice and analysis within the world’s premier nursing school through curriculum development, educational programming, hands-on activities, and research support. In this presentation, Jessica Martucci (History Lab founder and curator of the Barbara Bates Center) will talk about the theory and implementation of the Bates Center History Lab and will reflect on its reception and impact at Penn Nursing, as well as plans for its future.

This event will be in person in Class of '55, Room 241, 2nd floor Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center and also on Zoom.

We look forward to seeing you there!
