An informal lunch or coffee time to meet virtually with Kislak curators and talk about one of the manuscripts from Penn's collections. Each week we'll feature a different manuscript and the expertise of one of our curators. Everyone is welcome to attend.

On October 16, Curator Dot Porter will visit the Rosenbach Museum & Library in Philadelphia, where she'll join Rosenbach Librarian Elizabeth Fuller for a look at MS 1004/29, a mid-fourteenth-century physician's belt book containing calendar, tables of solar and lunar eclipses, anatomical phlebotomy diagram, and urine wheel. It's referred to as a bat book, because it unfolds like a pair of bat wings.

Note that the Zoom links for Coffee With a Codex are reusable - register once and attend every Thursday at 12pm EST / 5pm GMT.
