This string trio will perform works by Beethoven, Schubert and Mozart, music loved by the artist Ursula Sternberg-Hertz (1925-2000), whose papers are housed in the Kislak Center. Sternberg-Hertz often attended rehearsals and concerts conducted by her husband, Jonathan Sternberg, sketching the musicians as they performed. She also made small paintings of musicians and included portrayals of musicians in the illustrated diaries that she created, often during her travels abroad. A selection of her depictions of musicians will be on display. Pre-concert talk by Tanya Pushkine and Jeffrey Solow.
