When you decide to publish open access, you may be asked to choose which Creative Commons license you want to use to provide access to your work. But how do you decide? How do the licenses work? Which one is "best" for you? In this workshop, we will discuss what the Creative Commons licenses are, how they work, and why you may select one over another. We will also talk about the new Creative Commons signals and how they may allow content stewards to indicate their preferences about whether and how works are used to train AI models.
