Penn Libraries Presents: From Exhibition to Embedded: Building a Research Partnership between an AM250 Course Grant Awardee and Penn Libraries

Event box

Join us for a presentation that charts the pathway from the February 2025 National Library of Medicine's Yellow Fever Panel Exhibit and Discussion to an evolving partnership supporting Dr. Rana Hogarth's undergraduate interdisciplinary scholars within Holman Biotech Commons and Penn Libraries. This session explores how this collaboration flourished and how experiences with students surfaced critical questions about AI and historical research, supported the development of foundational research skills, and strengthened relationships with the library as a part of the Penn community. Hear from Lorin Jackson, Assistant Director at Holman, Lydian Brambila, Medical Education Librarian, and Dr. Rana Hogarth, Associate Professor of History and Sociology of Science at Penn.
