This includes:

• Writing a Data Management Plan (DMP)/Data Management & Sharing Plan (DMSP)
• Sharing your data
• Identifying an appropriate data repository
• Understanding the NIH Data Management & Sharing Policy
• Interpreting federal funder requirements for your research data (NSF, DOD, DOE, NASA, etc.)
• Setting up group procedures for data management
• Creating documentation (README, codebook, data dictionary, etc.)
• Organizing your data
