Learn how you can extend the reach of your research by publishing open access for free through the agreements the Penn Libraries has with publishers.
This hybrid session will provide an overview of some of the most common open access publishing models and the Penn Libraries' current agreements with publishers. These agreements cover Article Processing Charges (APCs) enabling Penn Authors to publish their articles Open Access for free. By the end of this workshop, you will have a basic understanding of:
-
How to extend the impact of your research and comply with funder mandates without paying APCs
-
How to identify specific journals covered by our agreements using a Libraries-provided tool
-
How to get more assistance if you have questions
No prior experience or knowledge of open access publishing is required to attend this session.
