Join our Teaching, Research, and Learning Services team for this introductory session on Futures Thinking. Learn with us as we develop a regular practice of looking for "signals of change" in the world around us. We will use foresight methods and materials from the Institute for the Future.

In this 1-hour session we will:

• Learn about what foresight is & a bit about it as a discipline
• Prepare our minds for futures thinking with activities & discussion
• Distinguish between signals of change and trends and learn why the distinction is key
• Walk away with resources for further exploration
