A heat map is a two-dimensional representation of information with the help of colors. Heat maps are capable of displaying complex data in a simple visual format making them a useful tool for data analysis. In this workshop, you will learn how to create a heat map of densities based on values assigned to locations specified by latitude and longitude coordinates or other standard geographic location descriptors such as zip code, state, country, and region using various software tools.
