Are you preparing to write your dissertation or a few review articles this fall?  Join us for an informal lunchtime discussion of best practices for using and reusing previously published information in journal articles and dissertations.  We will touch on some copyright basics, citation styles, and reference management tools that can be used to streamline the writing and citing process.  Bring your coffee, your lunch, your friends and housemates (or pets), and settle down for a fun and engaging discussion of publication ethics, using case studies and real-world examples.

This seminar is great for PhD and MS students preparing theses and dissertations and anyone else who wants to discuss the ethical norms surrounding use and reuse of published material in chemistry writing.
