Reaxys is a database of organic, inorganic, and organometallic substances, their properties, their reactions, and their medicinal chemistry.  Many people use it for substructure and reaction searching and to locate physical and chemical properties of substances.  However, beneath the deceptively-simple interface of Reaxys lurks a powerful, customizable advanced search algorithm.  This training session will teach you how and when to transcend the Quick Search to get optimal, directed search results.  Depending on the research interests of attendees, we will discuss one or more of the following: the capabilities of the Reaxys Medicinal Chemistry module, the Reaxys synthesis planner, and Reaxys-specific methods of identifying interesting coordination compounds.

This training is intended for individuals with experience performing structure and property searches who are looking to upgrade their skills by learning to use the advanced search mode in Reaxys.
