The Digital Scriptorium consortium invites its members and other stakeholders to a virtual meeting to discuss the progress of the DS 2.0 Planning Grant on April 30th, 2021, from 1:00-3:00pm ET.

In July 2020, Digital Scriptorium, with the University of Pennsylvania as administrative sponsor, received a one-year IMLS National Leadership Grant for Libraries to plan for DS 2.0, envisioned as the national union finding aid for premodern manuscripts in the United States. Building on the feedback received at the DS 2.0 Planning Meetings in October of last year, the project team has been hard at work to develop an implementation plan for DS 2.0. Visit the DS 2.0 website to access the latest documentation related to the project.

We are now ready to share drafts of the new DS 2.0 data model, data contribution workflow, and other plans for implementation and further funding. There will also be ample time for questions and conversation. We strongly encourage every DS member and associate institution to have at least one representative at this meeting. This is an opportunity for DS stakeholders to discuss and provide feedback on the latest plans related to DS 2.0.
