An informal lunch or coffee time to meet virtually with Kislak Curator Dot Porter and talk about one of the manuscripts from Penn's collections. Each week we'll feature a different manuscript and the expertise of other curators. Everyone is welcome to attend. On June 14 we'll look at LJS 60, a geographical work describing the populated areas of Europe, northern Africa, and western Asia, and Inc M-447, which is an early printed copy of the same work. Many of the leaves in the manuscript are palimpsests. See LJS 60 online: https://bibliophilly.library.upenn.edu/viewer.php?id=LJS%2060#page/12/mode/thumb. See the full schedule for Coffee with a Codex three weeks ahead at https://schoenberginstitute.org/coffee-with-a-codex/

Registration is required. There are 61 seats available.
