An informal lunch or coffee time to meet virtually with Kislak Curator Dot Porter and talk about one of the manuscripts from Penn's collections. Each week we'll feature a different manuscript and the expertise of other curators. Everyone is welcome to attend. On August 9 we'll look through Ms. Coll 591, which consists of a wide variety of fragments and leaves, including decorated initials and binding waste. See them online: https://bibliophilly.library.upenn.edu/?keyword=University+of+Pennsylvania,+Kislak+Center+for+Special+Collections,+Rare+Books+and+Manuscripts&search=%22ms.+coll.+591%22. See the full schedule for Coffee with a Codex three weeks ahead at https://schoenberginstitute.org/coffee-with-a-codex/

Registration is required. There are 70 seats available.
