This workshop aims to provide a broad perspective on, and introduction to academic publishing. We will discuss navigating the academic publishing world and determining best publishing practices. You will leave the workshop with a(n):

1) Introduction to the landscape of publishing; 

2) The varied publishing options available to academics; and

3) Resources and tools to assist academics in determining quality and appropriateness of the different publishing platforms.  

Presenters are Maylene Qiu, Health Sciences Librarian, Mayelin Perez, English Languages and Literatures Librarian, and Anne Larrivee, SP2 and Psychology Librarian
