Ed Discussion is a tool for online Q&A and threaded discussion among students or between students, TAs, and instructors. It is being piloted at Penn during the 2021-2022 academic year as a replacement for Piazza to promote communication, collaboration, and problem-solving to help students better understand course materials. Ed Discussion is available as an integrated LTI tool in Canvas at Penn.

In this session, we will introduce the tool’s features and best practices to support instructors incorporating the tool into future courses. 

This workshop is intended for LSPs, instructional designers, and instructional support staff (e.g., course/program directors, librarians, etc.).
