An informal lunch or coffee time to meet virtually with Kislak curators and talk about one of the manuscripts from Penn's collections. Each week we'll feature a different manuscript and the expertise of one of our curators. Everyone is welcome to attend. On November 29, Curator Dot Porter will show us Ms. Codex 1572, a complete portable gradual with chants for the Mass according to the Use of Brixen (now Bressanone), possibly from a Benedictine monastic foundation. Written in the diocese of Brixen in the south Tyrol (now Bressanone, in Italy), between 1300 and 1325. See the record here: https://franklin.library.upenn.edu/catalog/FRANKLIN_9948234173503681
