SUMMARY:Roundtable with Benjamin Bagby on Beowulf
DESCRIPTION:Renowned performer of early music Benjamin Bagby joins Penn 
 faculty to introduce and discuss the Old English epic poem Beowulf. Bagby 
 will be performing his musical reconstruction of the poem the following 
 evening as a Penn Live Arts concert at the Harold Prince Theatre. A 
 selection of Beowulf editions and related materials will be on display in 
 the Lea Library before and after the roundtable. Event co-organized by Penn 
 Live Arts and the Departments of English and Music.
