DESCRIPTION: Learn and practice the basics of letterpress printing and 
 typesetting. You will use the Common Press collection of metal and wood 
 typefaces to create a collaborative print. Then\, learn the operation of 
 the Vandercook printing press while printing a small edition. Instructor 
 Erica Honson is the studio coordinator at Common Press.\n\nThis orientation 
 is required as a prerequisite for working on independent projects at Common 
 Press and can be taken multiple times. No experience necessary\, all types 
 welcome. Registration is required.
