Room Capacity

The Fisher Fine Arts Library has the Davis Seminar Room, located on the first floor of the Fisher Fine Arts Library, which is available for classes or group study.  The room accommodates up to 12 people and is equipped with a classroom PC, data projector, and a white board. When not in use, the room is locked and when needed, patrons will need to gain access through Fisher staff. ***If you would like to make a recurring booking, please contact

Priority will be given to the Department of Art History and PennDesign communities but classes or groups of students from across Penn are welcome to reserve time.

Patrons are expected to abide by the Code of Student Conduct.

  • Food is not permitted.

  • Reservations can be made through the end of the academic semester.

  • Rooms must be booked in continuous 1/2 hour increments up to 3 hours maximum per group per day.

  • Groups that do not arrive within ten minutes of their reserved start time will lose their reservation.

  • The Davis Seminar Room is adjacent to the main reading room; patrons using the seminar room must remain mindful of those patrons engaged in quiet study immediately outside the space. The Fisher B Level Seminar Space is located on the lower level, in between the Materials Library and the Common Press.  

  • Please choose a simple Public Reservation Name recognizable to your group. Inappropriate group name choices may result in cancelation of your reservation.

  • Patrons who violate any of these terms will permanently lose access to the space.
