Description
Pick up key and check in at Ormandy circulation desk.
Equipment: This room features podcasting equipment for spoken word projects (Sennheiser mics and Audient interface). Select acoustic music recording projects may be scheduled on weekends (when it's less disruptive to staff and patrons). Equipment includes Sennheiser small diaphragm condenser mics, stands, cabling and headphones, mic stereo bar. To request advance scheduling for a music recording project, see below.
Directions
The Ormandy Music & Media Center is located on the fourth floor of the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center at 34th and Walnut Streets. Masking is optional; no beverages or food please. A resource for faculty, students, and staff to record and edit spoken word for podcasts, video voice-overs, and interviews. Additionally, graduate students, staff and faculty may request the space to record small-scale--and not-too-loud--recording projects on select weekends. Interested graduate students, staff and faculty should email Eric, ekrewson@upenn.edu, to see if the music library can accommodate their project.
